Hello everyone,

My name is Shannon Woodward and I am a Calvary Chapel pastor's wife (CC Marysville, WA) and a writer/editor for The Word For Today. For the past several months, I've been researching and gathering material for a book I'm writing on the history of Calvary Chapel. Keith has been gracious enough to permit me to write this article and ask for your help.

No comprehensive book on the history of CC would be complete without a chapter on Shiloh. I've been hearing bits and pieces about it (mostly from my friend and co-worker, Kathy Gilbert, who lived in Dexter) but I'd like to hear more from others of you who lived the experience. Facts are easy to come by, but your stories will make a big difference in helping me to give a true picture of that time.

As I mentioned to Keith, this book, which is to be published in January 09, will be used as a textbook for our CC Bible colleges. My hope is that as those students read about our early years, they'll be inspired by the faith and trust exhibited by you who were part of the movement back then.

Hi, Folks.
I get the digests emailed to me and so haven't been online in some time. In fact, I forgot my yahoo data and had to retreive it. But here I am.

I am writing because Mary and I have been thinking, praying and knocking seriously about entering overseas mission work, preferably till the Lord taks us home if we can pull it off. If the Lord is behind this, we will pull it off, and so the first order of business is to establish that. Our first goal is to go on a three month stint, with a target date of Fall 2008, and see if God confirms that this is what we should be doing long term.

The Streaming Video and Audio of Reunion, etc. are functioning again (see MEDIA on the menu bar) . My personal streaming server died, and I will have to rebuild it. If you want to help with financial contributions, please don't hesitate. You can contribute by just paying your voluntary alumni (dues on the left).

Please don't be offended by the little shopping-cart, and the tacky "alumni dues" item on the left.  I want to make a store available to sell items for you, and I am not quite sure how to get this done. I figured that I would start with our tacky "alumni dues" item to get things started.
